Week 2 Challenge

AIM: To create column and beams to the Grid

PROCEDURE:

1. Opening the TEKLA file which was saved with grid in last challenge.

2. Defining the different levels such as base level , ground level, intermediate level and roof level appropriately according to the plan.

3. Selecting manage property sets and adding members like concrete column, steel column and steel beams.

4. Adding the elements with appropriate properties

5. Placing the concrete column from base level to ground level.

6. Placing the steel column from ground to intermediate level

7. Placing the primary steel beam.

8. Placing the secondary steel beams.
