Week -2
Ans 1:
Here I have taken a signal builder of 10sec period such that 0-2sec amplitude is 1.5 and 2-10sec amplitude is 0. This pulse signal is use as control signal to the switch whose threshold is kept as 1.
when signal value is less than 1 it behave as O.C.
when signal value is greater than 1 it behave as S.C. As a result the coil of the solenoid get energized and the moving plunger displace whose value is captured in the scope.
Result: 0-2 sec Output is high as switch input is greater than threshold and ckt become closed.
2-10sec Output is low as switch input is smallerthan threshold and ckt become open.
Ans 2:
Signal builder block is used to input given temp. using temperature sensor block. Current sensor is used to measure current passing through the thermistor. and this current is used to controll the output of the switch. Output of switch depends on the threshold which is equal to current corresponding to 25degC.
Result: from 10-30sec output is high because at this interval temp is grater than 25degC so switch will give output corresponding to Input port 1.
