Week -2

1.) Simulink model of Doorbell using solenoid block

  • use block
  1. scope
  2. ps to simulink converter
  3. simulink to ps converter
  4. switch
  5. pulse generator
  6. battery
  7. solenoid
  8. ideal Translational Motion Sensor
  9. Electrical Reference
  10. Solver Configuration
  11. Mechanical Translational Reference
  • Method
  1. Frist select solenoid block -ve connection is connected to battery -ve porstion.and +ve connection is connected to switch through battery +ve porstion.
  2. and solenoid C and R terminal is connected to motion sensor R and C port.
  3. and also connected to mechanical reference to solenoid block porstion.
  4. motion sensor connected to ps to simulink and after connected to scope.
  5. and also connected to battery porstion electrical reference.
  6. input side connected to pulse generator and scope.
  7. the connect also simulink to ps connected and to connet ps port(switch).
  8. this diagram to connect to solver configuration.
  9. frist to pulse generator the pulse and pulse show in scope. converting to simulink thrugh PS switch port.
  10. solenoid producing electromagnetic field around a movable core, called an armature.
  11. When compelled to move by the electromagnetic field, the motion of that armature opens and closes valves or switches and turns electrical energy into mechanical motion and force.
  12. and show in scope.

2.)temperature of a heater & turn on or turn off the fan

  • use block
  1. Signal Builder
  2. Controlled Temperature Source
  3. Temperature Sensor
  4. Thermal Reference
  5. Temperature Sensor
  6. Solver Configuration
  7. Display
  8. Switch
  9. Constant
  10. Scope
  • Method
  1. Frist Set Signal builder Block Set the Signal is 20 °C from 0 to 10 seconds, 27 °C from 10 to 30 seconds, 23 °C from 30 to 50 seconds.
  2. And After controlled temperature source connected to temperature sensor.and also connected to thermal reference.
  3. signal builder is ps to simulink converter through connected to controlled temperature source.
  4. temperature sensor out connected to switch.
  5. switch is two way 1 is on and 0 is off show is constant block coonected to switch.
  6. switch out connected to scope show graph.
  7. and also connected to display.
