Week -2
Question 1:
Figures Name from the Attachment: there are three figures and the names are: DoorBell Simulation which represents the configuration, the Switch state figure and the Plunger Position graph.
So I started with my design using a DC battery source and the switch where the switch timer when it is open and closed controlled by a pulse generator so the switch will close for 2 seconds and open, I assume that the period of open and close is five seconds, so it will open for 3 seconds and close for 2 seconds. The solenoid acts like a DC motor when the current passes the coil electromagnetic will be generated and the intersection will generate a force which will move the plunger. So the final result which represents the plunger position shows some vibration of the plunger until it fixes to the original position.
Question 2:
Figures Name from the Attachment: the are four figures and the names are: Voltage @ 25 degree, Voltage @ 20, 27 and 23 Degree, Fan state and final simulation.
So I started the design to measure the voltage of the thermistor at 25 degrees which is equal to 11.9641 volts and use the switch which is going to control the fan's operation, so if the voltage is higher than 11.9641 the fan will not operate and if it is less than that the fan will operate in other word if the temperature is greater than 25 degrees the fan state is OFF and if it is less the fan is ON.
