Q1 ) Generate report for the steel building design from challenges 1 – 6 along with the loading summary.

ANS 1)

AIM : To generate report for the steel building design from challenge 1-6.

TOOLS USED :

• Report.
• Model report.
• Show report.

PROCEDURE :

1. Open the structure and analyze it.

2. Now click on report tab.

3. Select model report option.
4. New dialog box appears.

5. Now select the particular category and we can obtain the reports for each and every category separately.
6. Next click on show reports to view the selected member reports.

RESULT :

With the above steps we can obtain the reports for the steel structure.

Q2 ) Generate report for RC structure along with the loading summary.

AIM : To generate report for rc structure along with loading summary.

TOOLS USED :

• Report.
• Model report.
• Show report.

PROCEDURE :

1. Open the structure and analyze it.
2. Now click on report tab.
3. Select model report option.
4. New dialog box appears.
5. Now select the particular category and we can obtain the reports for each and every category separately.
6. Next click on show reports to view the selected member reports.

RESULT :

With the above steps we can obtain the reports for the concrete structure.

Q3) Update the layers settings in the model and generate plan drawings and details from the model.

AIM: To update the layer settings in the model and generate plan drawings and details from the model.

TOOLS USED :

• Home.
• Settings.
• Layer styes.
• Planer drawing.

PROCEDURE :

1. Click on home tab.
2. Go to settings.
3. Settings dialog box appears.
4. In the dialog box we have to select layer styles.
5. Under layer styles select planer drawing.
6. In that we can select colours for the members according to our will.
7. We can repeat the same steps for other members also.

RESULT :

With the above steps we can update the layer settings.
