Week 11:- 2D Detailing Challenge 2

In the first part of this challenge, I have made 2D drawings of all the Clamp Units and also a pin clamp unit. These units are made up of Mylars, Pins, L blocks, rectangular blocks, clamp arms, blades, risers, Rough Locators, Brackets etc. all of which have been detailed in their respective sheets. Also, their material, quantity and dimentions have been clearly mentioned.

GA of each clamp unit consits of isometric and orthogonal views. In GA sheet, I have mentioned the overall dimentions of the unit in mm and provided a callout for each part. It also consists of a table which has all the parts of unit along with its dimensions, quantity and material.

Note: In clamp units, I have purposely given stroke of 95mm instead of 100 mm because we keep a reserve stroke of 5 mm in the cylinder.


Similarly, in pin units I have detailed the pins and parts by which it is assembled. Pins material and quantity are mentioned and callout are given for each part in the isometric view.
