1- What is the BIW & its parts .

Ans- BIW refers to the welded sheet metal components which form the vehicle structure which will the other components will married that is engine ,chassis , exterior & interior trims .
BIW refers to the automobile manufacturing in which car body sheet metal has been assembeled or designed but before the components and trim have been added .

BIW Components -

1- Body sides

- Body side outer
- Body side inner

2-Under Body
-Front end under body
-main door
-Rear end under frame

3- Closures
-Front door
-Rear Door
-Hood
-Deck lid

4-Roof
-Roof inner
-Roof outer

5- Fender

2- What is fixture and its types
Ans- Fixture is a decice which hold the work piece to be processed .
Welding fixtures are the type of fixture that can hold the different component together by providing the stands & the clamps.

Types of Fixtures :
1- Production fixtures
2- Preproduction Fixtures
3- Checking Fixtures .

3- What is the basic principle of fiture Design?
Ans- Basically we are using the 3-2-1 principle to design the fixture .

4-Elaborate type of BIW Stations.

Biw stations has been divided into the different parts such as

Zones - stations --1- Tools - Geo tools , respot tool , marriage tools, Farmer tool , etc .
2- Grippers - Material handling gripper ,Process gripper, etc .
3- Stands - Pedestal stans, Gluing Stand , Docking Stand , etc.
4- Miscellaneous - Curing , Buffer stand

5 - Basic terminologies used in BIW .

In BIW we are making the such type of fixture in this the sheet metal should be arrested properly for welding purpose.
Basically BIW is used in the automobile sector.
