Week - 1 - Consistency of Units

Procedure:As stated above in the question about the conversion of given quantities those discussed below as follows:

Conversion are being done from MKS to CGS;

Mass(1Kg)=1000gm;

Length(1m)=1000mm;

Time(1s)=1000ms;

So force unit becomes F(Kgm/s^2)=m*a;

1Kgm/s^2(1N)=1gm*mm/ms^2

Now,

Stress(N/m^2)=Pressure/Area; 1N/m^2=1Pa;

1Pa=10^-6 gm/mm*ms^2

Energy(N-m)=F*s, (where s=displacement)

1Nm=10^3 gm*mm^2/ms^2;

Density(Kg/m^3)=M/rho;(M=mass;rho=Density)

1kg/m^3=10^-6 gm/mm^3

Young's modulus(Pa)

210Gpa=210*10^9pa=210*10^9*10^-6 gm/mm*ms^2;

210Gpa=210*10^3 gm/mm*ms^2;

Velocity(m/s)

56.33Km/h=15.647mm/ms;

Gravity(m/s^2)

9.8(m/s^2)=9.8*10^-3 mm/ms^2;

Here are system of units and there measured quantities stated below:
