Problem-1) Truss A will be suitable for carrying the gravity load most effectively as in this configuration diagonal members will be in tension while the vertical members will be in compression which is the most suitable and economic design since thinner and lighter marterials can be used in diagonal members to tackle tensile forces and relativly short vertical members can tackle compressive forces effectively without buckling.

Problem-5)Length Difference=2000*(40-(-20))*12*10^(-6)=1.44m
