Underbody Coating

Undercoating:-

Under coating is a sprayed application of wax or rubber based composite onto the entire under side of the car. It is designed to create a rust proof layer under the vehicle.

Purpose of undercoating:-

The under body may be damaged due to rust due to different climatic conditions or the usage of the vechile in different locations. Water,ice and salt are the main aspects for under body damage. The under side of the vehicle isn't easily visible and can't be washed as well, so any patches of rust can easily damage over the time without being detected.

Overtime even this layer will be worn down, meaning the vehicle operating in a climate with substantial aount of rain,slush and salt hitting the under side of the vehicle will result in the removel of the layer. So it is better to under coat the vehicle at leat once few years to ensure full protection.
