underbody coating is one of the process used in automobile indurstry. underbody coating provides long term protection from rust and also protectes from internal parts like frame, rails and panels.

under body coating process

in this process unique body of the part dipped into the ED bath. The train rail carry the unique body with their arms it dip into the ed bath with certain angle ED tank maintained at certain temperture.

then the unique body moves to the ed in given position to reach their level when it is reached the rail train arm lift the unique body with certain angle from ed bath. then it moves to the heating chamber where the parts are get heated.this is the process of ed bath but in advanced oem companies are using robotic arm machine for the painting process it depends of the vehicle price.the reason of using underbody coating is to reduce rust from of the vehicle and improve the quality of product.there are few process are followed those are coating quality,color,poweder coating,pretreatment,primer coating top coat,base coat and clear coat.
