Switch Bezel Design Week 8 Challenge

AIM:To get a thickened surface of the model to 2.5mm along with the draft analysis on the switch bezel component.

PROCEDURE:(A)The model which we have got should not be having any boundary issues in between if it is having then prior we have got to fix it first before proceeding.The model is shown below:

(B)Now we have the A class surface to which we required to have the B class and C class surface for that certain operation we need to perform as follows:

In order to have the B surface we required the tooling axis which can be made by the bisecting of two surface exist in the 1st plane and the bisecting of the again 2 surfaces and due to this we have the 2 bisecting line exist and from there 2 lines again the bisecting line will give the tooling axis as shown below:

these 2 lines bisect there respective 2 surfaces and the tooling axis will come from it as shown below which is again the bisector of these 2 lines.

(C)Now to have a B surface we have the certain operation has been takes place which is shown below along the image of the B surface:

(D)Now to have a C surface Sweep has to be taken into consideration along with blend to those area where sweep is incapable and curve smooth preferably to those areas to join where corners are at sharp edges needs to be get connected.

(E)After trimming out the extra surface models look alike which has been depicted below along with the Draft analysis has been done below:
