Steering Geometry 1

From the above hard points : 

1.

i) Caster angle = - 5.37 deg 

ii) mechanical trail = 9.4 mm

iii) King pin angle = +10 deg 

iv) scrub radius = 32 mm

v) latersal offset = 85.2 mm 

2. Total restoring moment = lateral force * (Mechanica ltrail + Pneumatic trail)

= 2000* (0+25) = 50000 Nmm.

3. To change / to get negative scrub radius 

move UCA knuckle ball joint in y direction -700 mm and LCA knuckle ball joint in y direction -800 mm.

This will overcome / counter the imbalance moment .
