SECTION MODULUS CALCULATION OF HOOD DESIGN:

From the above design section ,i took monium moment of inertia of 74mm^4

considering yield point for AISI 303 cold rolled stainless steel is 520mpa

For to find section modulus of taken HOOD section, we have to calculate

s=l/y

=74/520

=0.142mm^3

From above calculations ,i got an improvent is section modulus for about 0.013mm^3

so that i also made an improvement in resistance to bending of my HOOD design.
