1. wheel arc is an semi-circular area in fender which houses the wheel well
2. It should have sufficient clearance between tyre and wheel arch so that it doesnot touch the wheel arch area during suspension.
3. This clearance value differ from region to region according to road condition .

The standrds as per the european regulation standrad the valves are 20mm at 30 degree at forward and 60 degree at backward and 150mm line above x-axis and-point is 60degree and line is 160mm.

The standards are have proved that it will doent get any damage when wheel passes through arch.........
