Project - Data Handling and Interpolation

1. interpolation is a technique for adding new data points within a range of a set of known data points

here data of recorded voltage and current reading are given we have to perform interpolation in the range of -17.3 to 0.9

M=readmatrix("VI.xlsx");
v=M(:,1); % Voltage value
i=M(:,2); % current value
vq=-17.3:0.1:0.9;
iql=interp1(v,i,vq,'linear');
iqs=interp1(v,i,vq,'spline');
Z=[vq',iql',iqs'];
figure(1)
plot(v,i,vq,iql,'b*')
grid on
figure(2)
plot(v,i,vq,iqs,'r*')
grid on
save z

raedmatrix command is used to read the xl file in matlab and figure(1) is linear interpolation and figure (2) is spline ineterpolation.
in linear inter polation we not able get value for some data but in spline ineterpolation possible to get value for all data it give smooth edge compare to linear inerpolation
