Project - Analysis of a practical automotive wiring circuit

1.MAJOR ELEMENTS

.BATTERY

.BREAKER

.AMMETER

.CURRENT AND VOLTAGE REGULATOR

.STARTER

.IGNITION COIL

.FUSE

.FOOT SELECTOR SWITCH

.DISTRIBUTOR

.IGNITION COIL

2.THREE MAJOR ELEMENTS

.GENERATOR

IT IS USED TO CONVERT A MECHANICAL ENERGY INTO ELECTRICAL ENERGY

Electric motor follows Fleming's left-hand rule. Electric generator follows Fleming's right-hand rule. The working principle of a motor is based on the current-carrying conductor that experiences a force when it is kept in the magnetic field. The working principle of the generator is based on electromagnetic induction.

.IGNITION COIL

The ignition coil acts like a transformer. By means of two coils, one inside the other, the ignition coil transforms the electrical energy from the vehicle battery into high voltage, saves it briefly and then emits it as a high voltage current pulse to the spark plug.

.BREAKER

The circuit breaker is an electromechanical device whose function is to protect electrical installations, being used in electrical distribution boards. It works by interrupting the electric current when it exceeds its design limitations, therefore preventing the supply of energy to the loads, and damage to the circuit.

3. TOTAL LOAD IS 10A FROM BATTERY

P=I=P/V=150/12=12.5A

ANSWER IS 12.5A

4.ANSWER

POWER=VOLTAGE*CURRENT

500=12*I

500/12=41.67 AH

5.Generator
.Current and Voltage Regulator

Generator with current voltage and regulator areconnected in parallel, if two are more components are connected in parallel
they have the same differential of potential voltage across their ends.

6.

Battery: Connected in series with high voltage to improve the
drivability and energy efficiency.

Starter: Starter connected in series With Battery because same
current Flows through them.
