Challenge

Project - Analysis of a practical automotive wiring circuit

1. battery, starter,junction box, distributor, igntioncoil,generator,gas tank unit. fuel gauge.current and volatge regulator

2. battery- which provide electric power when the engine is off

generator- which provide electric power when the engine is on and also charging the battery

igntioncoil- which prove high volatge currect to spark plug to provide the spark.

3. normaly we use 125% of the maximum current expected to be drawn by the load. So for a 10A load, a fuse with a rating of 12.5A would be appropriate.

4. P= 500W

V= 12V

required current =P/V

=500/12=41.66= 42A

battery rating is current provide by per hour Ah

assusming time = 1 Hr so battery rating= 42Ah

5.horn, starter, generator. in parallel connection volatge is same to all device (12v) so that they can perform well

6. switch ammeter. if switch connected in parrallel if any fault occured in switch the whole system do not work. ammeter is a device wich used to meassure the current so it should connet in series
