Project - Analysis of a practical automotive wiring circuit

  • 1) Battery, Generator, Distributor, Starter, Ignition coil, Breaker, current and voltage regulator, Junction Block, Foot Selector.

2) Battery purpose is to charge and discharge power.

It stores power by charging from AC source with the help of Rectification ( Rectifier circuit) and supply DC power to DC motor with the help of DC to DC converter (choppers) or to AC motor with the help of DC to AC converter ( inverter).

Breaker purpose is to check the voltage, current and break the circuit if it was above range.

when there is any faulty current flows it breaks the circuit.

Current and Voltage regulator purpose is to regulate the current and voltage.

It contains the Variable resistor which helps to regulate the current flow based on the speed required.

3) 10 Amps * 135% = 13.5 amps.

4) power = 500 W

voltage= 12V

current= 500/12 = 41.66 Amps hours.

Battery capacity= 41.66 Ah and 12 V

5). starter and tail stop connect in parallel because while connecting in parallel current will be high and if one current is not flow throw one element another element gets power.

6) Foot Selector switch and dome switch are in series because if one element not get power another element doesn't get power and voltage also high.
