Project - Analysis of a practical automotive wiring circuit
1)Identify each of the major elements in the above automotive wiring diagram.
answer= Starter ,breaker,generator,ammeter,etc....
2.Explain the purpose and working of any three elements briefly.
ans..=1)Stater=When you turn the ignition switch, the electromagnet inside the body engages & pushes out a rod to which the pinion is attached. The pinion meets the flywheel and the starter motor turns. This spins the engine over, sucking in air (as well as fuel)
2)Breaker=The circuit breaker is opened by applying pressure to the trigger. When there is a faulty current flowing through any part of the system, the trip coil of the breaker gets energized thereby moving away from each other, thus opening the circuit.
3)battery=A battery is a device that stores chemical energy and converts it to electrical energy. The chemical reactions in a battery involve the flow of electrons from one material (electrode) to another, through an external circuit. The flow of electrons provides an electric current that can be used to do work
3)If the total load is 10A from battery, what should be the fuse ratine?
ans..15 A.is should be the fuse ratine
4)If 500W is the load, what is the voltage and capacity of battery you recommend?
ans..w=500
v=12
I=T/v
ah150
150/12=12.5 hours
5)Identify any two elements which are connected parallel to each other. Why they are connected in parallel?
ans.. breaker generator is connected in parallel.
because Elements in parallel can be recognized in two ways: If multiple elements are connected to the same pair of nodes, the elements are in parallel. If applying KVL around a loop results in the conclusion that the voltages in two elements are identical, the elements are in parallel.
6)Identify any two elements which are connected in series. Why they are connected in series?
ans. fuse switch is connected in series.
becauseWhen two resistors are connected end to end are said to be connected in series. In a series connection, the same current physically flows through both elements.
