Project - Analysis of a practical automotive wiring circuit

1)battery,generator,breaker,fuse,starter,ammeter,switches,voltage regulator, junction block, distributor, few end applinces like horn lamps etc... and earthing is also done.

2)generators are the devices that is used to produce electric energy from the conversion of mechanical energy:purpose

working:

they work on the priciple of electromagnetic induction,A conductor coil is rotated around a magnet with an armature and in turn is connected to a shaft of the mechanical energy source,When the coil rotates, it cuts the magnetic field which lies between the two poles of the magnet. the magnetic feild will be induce trhe flow of current inside it.

fuse:

purpose:To break the circuit such that no elctericity flows since current can pass only through a closed circuit when the load increases and to protect the eqipment

working: it workes on the principle of heating effect of current,it is composed of a non-flammable thin metallic wire with a low melting point. h=i^2rt, when the current passed increses over trhe resistance of the coil it increses the heat since itr has low melting point any thing above that would result in breaking the circuit.

breaker:

purpose:A circuit breaker is defined as, switching device which interrupts the faulty current and performs the function of a switch thus protecting the electrical system from damage

working:Under a closed circuit breaker, current-carrying contacts are known as electrodes that engage each other due to the pressure of a spring.

under open circuit breaker The circuit breaker is oprned by applying pressure to the trigger. When there is a faulty current flowing through any part of the system, the trip coil of the breaker gets energized thereby moving away from each other, thus opening the circuit.
3)i=10 as well as load thus p=v*i=12*10=120watts
120/10=i=p/v=12 this 12v fuse is required standard 15 v fuse
4)p=500 w
p=v*i=12*i=500/12=41.997a
capacitance per hour t=1hr
=500*1=500wh=500/12=41.66ah
voltage is 12v
5) both the horn are connected in parllel as well as tail stop.because both the tail lights or horn needs constant voltage drop and in parllel connection voltage acrosss the circuit remains constant
6)ammeter connection with current and voltage regulator, and ammeter connection with fuse is also in series this is connected in series because constant current flow is needed
