Project - Analysis of a practical automotive wiring circuit
1- the major elements are: generator, battery, starter, breaker ( for safety) , regulator and wires.
2- generator: change the mechanical energy into electricity (gives specific current and voltage for the circuit)
battery: to store energy in form of chemical. and to give energy when needed.
breaker: to open the circuit when a high voltage happens ( higher than expected) to protect equipments and lives.
3- the fuse should be 10A or slightly higher than 10A like 11 or 12.
4- V = P/I = 500 / 10 = 50 V
Capacity = 10 Ah
5- the gas tank and plate light are connected in parallel. the reason is if 1 of them is off, or broken, so the parallel connection makes the the current passes normally in the other equipment.
6- breaker and distributer: in case we have high voltage passes, the breaker will open so it will be open circuit since they are connected in series, and the current flow will not reach the distributer. this is because they are connected in series.
in this case we need to stop the current immediately (because of very high voltage) to protect the equipments, so we connect them in series.
