Project - Analysis of a practical automotive wiring circuit
1. The major elements are battery, generator, starter, ignition coil, breaker, earthing, distributor etc
2. Battery: the purpose of battery is to provide power for the starting of our vehicle. It accept, store and releases the energy. The working of battery is that it stores the chemical energy and converts it into electrical energy.
Startor: A startor is a device used in an internal combustion engine to rotate the engine so as to initate the engines opertion under its own power. The function of startor is for turning the engine over during ignition.
Ignition coil:The purpose of ignition coil is to provide spark in the engine. The function is that it transformes the electrical energy from battery into high voltage and emit this high voltage as spark
3.If the total load is 10Ah then the fuse rating should be 10.if it is more than 10 it will damage the object.
4.A battery of 12 v and 180 Ah is needed for a load of 500w.because watt=VA
Assume we need to run the battery for 3 hours
So, 3×500=1500
12×180=2160vah
So a 12v 180Ah is prefered
5. Battery and fuse are connected in parallel
Generator and ammeter are also connected in parallel. They are connected in parallel because when the fuse is connected in parallel to the circuit would not affect current through any of the other branches.
6.Fues and ammeter connected in series
Ammeterand beam are connected in series.
They are connected in series because the current flowing through all the components is same.so they are connected in series
