Project - Analysis of a practical automotive wiring circuit

1, The major elements in the above automative wiring diagram are

*Battery

*Current and voltage regulator

*Generator

*Distributor

*Junction Block

*Breaker

2, The purpose and working

1.Battery

*Working :Battery is a device that stores chemical energy and converts it to electrical energy. The chemical reactions in a battery involve the flow of electrons and electrode from one material to another, through an external circuit. The flow of electrons provides an electric current that can be used to do work.

*Purposes:The purpose of battery is to give electric current to the required part's of a car ,like motor,horn,parking lamp,etc.. To run that we need battery.

2.Current and voltage regulator

*Working:current involve variation in voltage, to ensure that current it is used.

*purpose: The purposes is to ensure that the output of the current is constant even if the input current change.

3.Breaker

*Working:If any over flow of current occur the breaker open the circuit.

*purposes:It is designed to protect the electric circuit,that the damage caused by overcurrent,overload,short circuit.

3, The total load from battery is 10A. therefore the fuse rating is 10A.

4, Solution;

Given;

load=500watt

Watt=A×V

Assume time =1hour

voltage =12V

Therfore:A=watt/v

A=500/12

A=41.67

A=42

Ah=A×Hours

Ah=42×1

Ah=42

Therfore the voltage and capacity of the battery may be

12V\42Ah.

5, The elements which are connected in parallel are Ignation coil to distributor and breaker The current passes Ignation coil through distributor and breaker if any problem occur beaker open the circuit.

6,The two elements which are connected in series are ,ammeter and current and voltage regulator.from battery the current passes through ammeter to current and voltage regulator.
