Project 4
Project 4 : calculate the battery pack capacity
Aim : To study the calculate the battery pack capacity annd number of cell in series and parllel.
Battery pack :
A battery pack is a set of any number off identical betteries or individual battery cell . They may be cnfigurate in a series parllel or a mixture of both to deliverdthhe desire voltage capacity or power density . TThe turm battery pack is often used in referance to cordies tool radi connected hobby toys battery electric vehical

component of a battery pack include the individual batteries or cell and the interconnection which provide electrical conductivity between them rechargeable battery pack often contain a tempertaure sensor which the battery charge used to detact the end of charge interconnect are also found in batter as they are the part which connect each cell through batteries are most often only arrangment in series string .

When a pack contain groups of cell in parllel are diffreing wiring configuration which take into consideration the electrical balaance of the circuit . Battery regulate are sometime used to keep the voltage of each individual cell below its minimu value during charging so as to allow the weaker batteries to become fully charged bringing the wole pack into balance . Active balancing can also be performed by battery balancer device which can shuttle energy from strong cell to weeaker onnes in rural time for batter balaance . A well balancedd pack lost longer and deleved batter performance.
Objective:
Cell = ANR26650MI-B
The single cell
Nominal current of single cell = 2.6Ah
Nominal voltage of single cell = 3.3V
The average battery pack capacity
Amp = Walt/Voltage
amp = 1200/65
amp = 18.46A
The actual battery pack capacity
60Km/h = 40Ah
battery pack capacity = 40Ah
Nuumber of cell connection in series
= maximum current of the battery pack / nominal current of single cell
= 40Ah/2.6Ah
= 16 cell
16 cell will be connected in a series connection to provide a proper voltage
. number of cell connection in parllel
= maximum voltage of battery pack / nominal voltage of single cell
= 60/3.3 V
= 19 cell
19 cell will be connected in parllel to provide a proper capacity power
The total cell battery pack
number of cell in series * number of cell in parllel
= 16*19
= 304 cells
