1.As efficiency and reduced emission of intenal combustion engine do have a impact on the themal behaviour of material ,there are some key challenges to make balance in performance and sustainalbilty

Several factors during material selection may be a key factors to consider , they are

Thermal conductivity

Thermal runaway

Thermal shock

Themal stress

Heat capacity

and so on

Advancement in material science such as using alloy materials that will have severe impact on the performance
