Question 1) Total energy possessed by the body = mgh = 1058.4

condition at V, KE = 3*PE

total energy at position U is equated to 1058.4,

KE+PE =1058.4 and for finding out velocity , initial condition of KE = 3*PE is used.

hence when all the values are substituted

height of point V above the surface of earth= 22.5 m.

Question 2) Keq = K1+K2+K3 =0.125+1.5+1 = 2.625 W/mdegc

Th-Tc = 22 - (-10) = 32 deg C

power = (Keq*Area*temp diff)/( total length of the wall)

power = (2.625*140*32)/(29.5*10^-2)

=39.86 KW

Question 3) equivalent resistance of the circuit= 20 ohms
