Project 2 - V&V SW Analysis II

For the manual testing phase, I carefully crafted four test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of the code. These cases were designed with the goal of assessing the robustness and reliability of the cashregister.c module under various scenarios:

  1. Set Input Pointer to Null

  2. Add All Elements to Test Cases

  3. Add Multiple Elements to Test Cases

  4. Remove All Elements from Test Case

These manual test cases cover different scenarios, including null pointer situations, variations in the number of elements, and the presence or absence of elements in the test cases.

After manually testing everything, I used TBExtreme to automatically test a bunch of things. TBExtreme helped me do this quickly and made sure I checked a lot of different scenarios. It also helped me find problems that might not have been obvious when I was testing things manually.
