Project 2 - V&V SW Analysis II

1.) Procedure for Testing

STEPS FOR STATIC CODE ANALYSIS:-

Step 1: Source -> Single file

Step 2: Sequence -> New sequence -> “ select the .c file ” ->Code coverage -> Continue

Step 3:Right click on the file and Set as Black Box if you needed

Step 4: Source -> Run Static Analysis

Step 5: Results -> Test Manager Report

2.)

STEPS FOR INTEGRATION TEST:-

Step 1: Source -> Multiple file

Step 2: Select / Create Set ->name -> system -> Add -> Choose .c file ->Add ->Choose .c file

Step 3: LDRA tool bed Analysis -> No

Step 4: Configuration -> LDRA test configuration -> Static options ->Give path for the .dat file

Step 5: Source -> Static Analysis

Step 6: Results -> Test Manager Reports

STEPS FOR AUTOMATIC TESTING USING TBEXTREME:-

Step 1: Source -> Single file

Step 2: Sequence -> New sequence -> “ select the .c file ” ->Code coverage -> Continue

Step 3: File view -> Select .c File -> set as Black box testing

Step 4: Extreme Test -> run tabular Extreme test

Step 5: Results -> Test Manager Reports

STEPS FOR CREATION OF TEST CASE FILE AND SAVING WITH .tcf :-

Step 1: Source -> Single File

Step 2: Sequence -> New Sequence ->Name -> Code Coverage -> Continue

Step 3: File View -> Click on .c File -> Set as Black Box

Step 4: Extreme Test ->Run Extreme Test

Step 5: Source -> Save file or set as TCF.

Note:- LDRA tool is now not working. But i have watched all session videos based LDRA sotware testing.

As per the advise of skill lync staff, i have upload this content and steps for perform Static Code Review Analysis, integration testing and creating test cases manually / automatically using TBExtreme and creating test cases as .tcf file.
