Project 2 - Supply and Demand Gap Analysis
Aim: The aim of this project is to collect and analyze the data in detail of the Pickup point of the Airport and City Request id in Uber Request Data.
Introduction: The main objective of this project is to analyze the data on, Uber Request data. Through the analysis of data, we can find some important insights.
Problem Statement: we find out how many request id is placed from the pickup point of the Airport and city, How many Drivers are present, How many trips are completed, and how many trips are canceled also find out how many trips the car is not available for the trips.
Methodology:
Uber as provided in 2016 of the data was the first column as shown in the Request ID
The second column provided the details of the Pickup location where the customer takes the cab
The third column provided details with Driver Id where each driver provides with different ids
Forth column provided details with the status where the ride was completed, Canceled, or no car in the surrounding location.
The fifth column provided details with the date and Pick up time when the customer picks up the ride
The sixth column provided details with the date and time of drop where the destination of the rider ends.
And the data shown here is cleaned
Replaced all null with 0
Analysis: From the above Visualization find some interesting points that are mentioned below
From the chart we see that cancelled the request from the customer is 3940069 and no cars Available is 9501514 and the Trip completed is 9378847 from the data we can see that the maximum number of cars is not available
Next data were predicted that pickup point and requested and status, as shown in which at Airport canceled car 651439 and car not available, is 6219812 then a trip completed but in the city where the Trip completed is higher than cancel and no cars
The Pickup point at Airport and the trip completed is 46.87% in the city is 53.17%, no cars at Airport is 64.64% in the city 35.36%, and canceled 15.66% whereas in the city 84.34%
Insight:
In conclusion, we can look at the final dashboard for further analysis
Recommendation:
We can analyze the data of the overall trips in the city
Like this data set, we can analyze the supply and demand of cabs in different areas and cities
Conclusion :
From the data we have gone through it was a demand for cabs hired, were as there is no proper flow in it we can more supply required at the airport and we can more data to see why the cancellation is higher in cities and we need to improve it and provide maximum trip completion
