Project 2 - Supply and Demand Gap Analysis

Aim:-

To create effective Dashboard on Supply and Demand Analysis on Flipkart Mobiles using POWER BI.

Introduction:-

Flipkart is the largest online shopping platform on now a days for purchasing all our needs like Mobiles, PC’s, Fridge, etc. For this we have a lot options to buy and there is so many people are want that products. For this let us create a simple dashboard to help buyers.

Problem Statement:-

For this we use below dataset to analyse the Dashboard for Supply and Demand Analysis on Flipkart Mobiles.

Methodology:-

• Import CSV dataset using HOME >> Get DATA >> TEXT/CSV.
• Select the file , clean the data and Load it to BI.
• If any error in dataset transport to power query editor and clean the data.
• Create a relationship between date table and main dataset by using appropriate columns.
• Modify column names to proper case names for better understanding.

Analysis:-

1.Select Theme:-

• Go to View tab -> Under Themes Select Executive ( you can select based on your choice)

2. Create Snapshot View:-

• Click on Card visual → Added to the canvas area.
• Select field Available count of Modal names
• Click on Format → Go to Data label and Category Label. Change Color, Font family and Text size. add some background colour to it.
• Follow the same process for Number of reviews, Number of Ratings, Average of rating.
• Using Format painter, copy the same format for all the Card visuals.

3. A Mobile Brand slicer:-

• Add Slicer visual beside the card visuals.
• Add Brands.

4. Create Multi Row Card “Top 10 Modals by Rating”:-

• Add Multi Row card to the canvas area.
• Click on Format → Go to Data label and Category Label. Change Color, Font family and Text size. add some background colour to it.
• In the Filters section, select Top N filter add show items 10 and By value Rating

5. Create Name Card “Product Features”:-

• Add card to the canvas area.
• Click on Format → Go to Data label and Category Label. Change Color, Font family and Text size. add some background colour to it.
• In the Filters section, select Top N filter type from Country, add show items 10 and By value People Fully Vaccinated.

Conclusions:-

From the SUPPLY AND DEMAND ANALYSIS ON FILPKART MOBILES it is clear that few options are available for buyers.

For this brands are able to provide various models on different price segments and also they have to improve their production .
