Project 2 - Supply and Demand Gap Analysis
GASOLINE PRODUCT ANALYSIS
Aim:
Long-term power outages represent a significant interference with the lives of citizens, institutions, and sector of critical infrastructure. At the time of power failure, alternative power sources are used in these facilities for which fuel supply is required. The aim of the paper is to analyze fuel. Also, an analysis is carried out at a selected hospital regarding fuel supply.
Introduction:
Gasoline is a complex mixture of many organic compounds, with various additives that provide for a suitable automobile fuel. It is produced through refining operations from crude oil, which is a natural blend of many different hydrocarbons found in underground reservoirs in certain parts of the world.
Problem statement:
Obtaining the production level of the companies are more important to optimise the level of usage and allowances. The gas and oil industries are analysing level of production of each and every year to increase the level of production to competing the other industries.so that way this case study is also analysing the level of production of a gasoline over a period of 2020 to 2023.
Methodology:
The analysis is done by using the software power bi to easy access of accessing data and making charts.comparing the level of production between the previous year and current year by the way fiscal week and year.
Analysis:
The below analysis are made by using the reference datasets;
- Change in the level of production between the years is increasing about 0.8%
- 7 gallons are lower than the previous year production
- The level of throughout the year was same by approaching the level of approximately 0.4T
- Current year cumulative production is 11T.
Insights:
Data from the CE suggest that individual households (excluding commercial use) buy as many gallons of gas and travel as many or more miles regardless of the price of gasoline. The law of supply and demand states as prices rise, the quantity of the good that the consumers demand falls.
Recommendations:
The production rate is slightly decreasing in the year to stabilize the level of production is obtained regularly checking the progressions and increasing the rate of production at the year end fiscal.
Conclusion:
Additives in diesel fuel are generally similar to gasoline, being nitrogenous, hydrocarbon-soluble detergents and dispersants. The less volatile nature of the matrix can complicate the concentration step, but otherwise the general approach is similar to that for gasoline additives.
