Step 13:
Load case:
1) As per IS 875 Part 2, live load of hostel building room is 2 kN
2) Brickwall load as 3.5kN and Finishing load as 1.2 kN

Step 14:
1) Add new load as Brickwall, EQX with both positive and negative eccentricity as per IS 1893:2016
2) Similarly add EQY with positive and negative eccentricity

Step 15:
As per IS 1893:2002, zone factor for Guwahati, Assam is 0.36 and it is 5th zone

Step 19:
Apply the loadings into the model

Live Load

Step 20:
Run the analysis and take the Ast values for both beam and reinforcement

Step 21:
1) Export the Safe file from etabs model

Step 22:
Given details:
Soil type = 3
Piles of length 10 meters
Pile dia = 500 mm diameter
Load carrying capacity = 280kN
Step 23:
Run the analysis
1) Some of the punching shear values are greater than 1
2) Need to increase the slab size
Step 24:
Showing the reinforcement details for one pile cap
