1. Key performance indicators :
a. Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) : Avaliability x Performance X Quality
b.Availability : It takes into accojnt all events that stop planned production long enough where it makes sense to track a reason for being down. Availability = Run time/Planned Production time.
c.Performance : Perofrmance takes into account anything that causesthe manufacturing process to run at less than the aximum possible speed when it is running. Performace = (Total count/Run time)/Ideal Run rate
d.Quality: Quality takes into account manufactured parts that do not meet quality a standards. Quality = Good count/Total count
e.MTTR (Mean Time To Repair) is the average time it takes to recover from a product or system failure.MTTR is calculated by dividing the total unplanned maintenance time spent on an asset by the total number of failures that asset experienced over a specific period
f.Pareto Analysis: The Pareto Principle states that 80 percent of a project's benefit comes from 20 percent of the work. Or, conversely, that 80 percent of problems can be traced back to 20 percent of causes. Pareto Analysis identifies the problem areas or tasks that will have the biggest payoff.
