Wiring harness routing at car back door

Aim:

To route the wiring harness at automotive car back door and flattening the wiring harness.

Objective:

· Create an bundle entry, connector connecting point and define connector in electrical part workbench.

· Positioning the connector by using various methods.

· Create a bundle with required dimensions and add protective coverings if required.

· Position the connectors and guide channel properly.

· Flattening the harness assembly in flattening workbench.

· Create a drawing of flattening assembly.

Introduction:

In wiring harness design connectors need to be convert into electrical part for connecting cavity and harness bundle. Connectors are plastic molded parts having with locking and retention features. Protection coverings are flexible, temperature, wear and tear resistant molded plastic. A wire harness is a specially designed system that keeps numerous wires or cables organized. It is a systematic and integrated arrangement of cables within an insulating material. The purpose of the wiring assembly is to transmit a signal or electrical power.

Car door panel has various electrical systems like speaker, sensor,Door lighting etc, the wiring harness needs to be position in order to get a good panel assembly. Automobiles are operated by a variety of electric controls such as being able to start the engine by pushing one button. Along with the increase in functions for automobiles, the number of electric devices installed is also increasing. The wiring harnesses play a role in connecting those devices and delivering electricity and signals through the entire car. The functions are similar to the blood vessels and nerves of a human body.
