Project
REPORT OF THE PROJECT
AIM :
TO create a Scientific calculator( using the concepts of oop).
REQUIREMENTS:
IDE - eclipse
JVM (java virtual machine)
PROCEDURES(usage of oop in the program):
- Objects & Classes- class is a template used to create objects and to define object data types and methods. Object is a member (also called an instance) of a Java class.
I've created 3 classes. parent class " Scicalculator ", child class "operation" , subclass "FileHandeling". and created the objects of the classes to call the methods in the different classes .
- Abstraction -Abstraction is a process of hiding the implementation details and showing only functionality to the user.
I've created an abstract class in the name "FileHandeling" .which is used to hide the unwanted information to the the user.(i.e the writing and the reading of file is unwanted to the user).
- Encapsulation - Data Encapsulation is an Object Oriented Programming concept that bind a group of related properties, functions, and other members are treated as a single unit. (e.g)Class is the best example of Data Encapsulation.
- Inheritance – Inheritance is a mechanism where a new class is derived from an existing class. In Java, classes may inherit or acquire the properties and methods of other classes. A class derived from another class is called a subclass, whereas the class from which a subclass is derived is called a superclass
I've created parent class Scicalculator , child class operation.
- Polymorphism – we can define polymorphism as the ability of a message to be displayed in more than one form. 2 types of polymorphism.
1. Static binding (compile time polymorphism) - E.g Method overloading (I've created 2 methods with the same name "mult" in the same class "Operation".)
2. Dynamic binding (run time polymorphism) - E.g Method overridding (I've created 2 methods with the same name "add" in the 2 different classes "operation & FileHandeling").
OUTPUT:
The program is pinned with the file.
