Test Plan for New Mobile Phone:

Objective: To test the features and functionality of the new mobile phone and ensure that all the requirements are met.

Scope: The scope of this test plan is limited to blackbox testing of the new mobile phone. It covers the testing of all the requirements mentioned in the User Stories.

Test Environment: The test environment includes a physical device of the new mobile phone and a test scenario document with all the test cases and expected results.

Test Cases:

1. Power On Test:

   • Test Case 1: Long press the power button to switch on the phone.
   • Test Case 2: Verify that the company logo is displayed at the center of the screen.
   • Test Case 3: Verify that all the icons of the apps are present in the grid.

2. Bottom Bar Test:

   • Test Case 1: Verify that the "Call the phone" icon is the first icon at the bottom bar of the screen.
   • Test Case 2: Verify that the "Dictionary" icon is the second icon at the bottom bar of the screen.

3. Call the Phone Test:

   • Test Case 1: Click on the "Call the phone" icon.
   • Test Case 2: Verify that all the contacts are visible in chronological order.

4. Dictionary Test:

   • Test Case 1: Click on the "Dictionary" icon.
   • Test Case 2: Verify that a search bar appears at the middle of the screen.
   • Test Case 3: Enter a word to search and verify that the meaning of the word is displayed.

5. Power Off Test:

   • Test Case 1: Long press the power button to switch off the phone.
   • Test Case 2: Verify that a "Good-Bye" message is displayed.

6. Font Test:

   • Test Case 1: Verify that the font in the mobile is always "Calibri (Body)".
   • Test Case 2: Verify that the font size is 12.

7. Touch Responsiveness Test:

   • Test Case 1: Verify that the UI of the mobile phone is touch responsive.

8. Hard Buttons Test:

   • Test Case 1: Verify that there are no hard buttons in the mobile phone.

Test Deliverables: The following test deliverables will be produced:

• Test Plan document
• Test Scenario document
• Test Report document

Test Execution: The tests will be executed manually by a team of experienced testers. The tests will be executed in a controlled environment to minimize external factors that may affect the test results.

Test Schedule: The test schedule will be based on the availability of the test team and the development team. The test schedule will be finalized and communicated to all stakeholders before the start of the testing phase.

Test Criteria: The test criteria for this test plan is to ensure that all the requirements mentioned in the User Stories are met and that the new mobile phone is fully functional and user-friendly.

Test Risks: The test risks include the possibility of hardware or software defects that may affect the performance of the mobile phone. The test team will closely monitor and report any issues that arise during the testing phase.

Test Sign Off: The test team will sign off on the test report once all the tests have been executed and all the requirements have been met. The test report will be presented to the stakeholders for review and approval before the new mobile phone is released to the market.
