Test plan to test features of a new mobile phone (Blackbox test):
Test objective: TO test both functional(icons, search, logo, font ,font_size) and non functional aspects (UI smoothness) of a phone
Scope of testing: to test certain features inscope like icons display features, out of scope need to test reliable and secure software .
Role and responsibility: Sarath is responsible person for testing and he has to test mentioned features in requirements document.
Schedule of tests: Completed in 2 months time with starting date as 21-december-2022
Assumptions: Assuming that phone hardware is built and provided for testing along with software developed in units as in requirements document.
Risks: Availability of hardware ,Developer assistance when required.
TESTING TECHNIQUES CAN BE USED:
ELEMENTARy COMPARISON TEST , CONTROL FLOW TEST CAN BE EMPLOYED
Entry criteria: Designed software with hardware and available specifications document.
Test environment: Entry: Phone should switch on
Exit: Phone sould switch off
Defect tracking: Using JIRA
Test automation: NO manual testing since its under development
