Project 1-Meshing of Rear Wheel Holder challenge

PROJECT 1 -REAR WHEEL HOLDER

Aim: - To perform proper meshing of given component.

Objective: -

1. Creating mid surface
2. Use Mixed type mesh
3. Give quality criteria

Procedure: -

1. Creating a mid-surface by using auto mid surface.
2. After creating mid surface, then go for auto clean up geometry, by using this geometry automatically clean, gaps and error.
3. Then use auto mesh option, to create a meshing, by using surface select a surface, and mesh it, by using no of element, choose proper mesh flow.
4. Try to avoid trai as much as possible, now use element edit option to edit element, in that use slip command to slip any element, use combine command to combine any element, and use create to create element (tria, quad).
5. Now go to 2D option, and check for quality index, go to worst to bad option and clear the highlighted element (red, yellow, etc).
6. Clear those elements by using clean up tool (fig 2).
7. Now put all values as per given data. (fig 3)
8. Now check for each quality criterial (check Element), and resolved it by using clean up tools as shown above.
