Challenge

Project 1-Meshing of Rear Wheel Holder challenge

Aim: To  extract a mid surface and mesh the  given component.

Objectives: 1. To geometrically clean up of the model.

2. To extract a mid-surface.

3. To clean and defeature the Midsurface so as to avoid any minimum length errors while meshing.
4. To mesh the midsurface while trying to minimize the number of trias and its concentration.
5. Clear all elements that are failing any Quality criteria that was set.
6. To assign thickness to the mesh according the component.

7.checking for free edges.

Procedure: 1) For proper mesh flow geometry cleanup is necessary and geometry catchup.

2) Give meshing criteria and mesh the component to given target elements.

3) Toggle the line and make a line for better mesh flow.

4) washer splits for the hole for better mesh flow.

5) Use rebuild mesh for better mesh flow.

6) Use align node for liner mesh flow.

7) Check quality and rectify it.

8) Check the edges and preview equivalence if there are any gap between the element.

Conclusion: I would like to state that, this project helped me get a better review of all the meshing steps and how to resolve a particular problem and Quality clearing or even Geometry Clean up.
