Project 1 - Meshing of Floor Panel

AIM:

To do the 2-D meshing of the floor panel in ANSA.

PROCEDURE:

• First analyze all the entities by rotating the views.
• Click Orient for a better view.
• Do topo to connect the surface.
• Check the geometry of the surface.
• Correct the geometrical errors.
• Give the input for meshing parameters.
• Now go to the mid surface and skin the area.
• Quality criteria are set.
• Quality is maintained by correcting areas using tools like split, swap, new, paste, number, intersect etc.
• Finally the quality is checked and trias are reduced.
• Now save the file for review.

OUTCOMES:

 Here I practiced mid-surface skin and meshing.

RESULT:

The 2-D meshing of the floor panel in ANSA mid-surface is practiced.
