Project 1 - Interfacing a 16*2 LCD with Arduino using I2C protocol

Interfacing a 16*2 LCD with Arduino using I2C protocol

Objective:

When Varying the Voltage by Potentiometer at the Simultaneously the varied valtage measured on the 16*2 lcd display at master slave technology.

Required Components:

1)Arduino 12c protocal - 2 nos

2)1kohm Resistor- 1 no

3)250kohm Potentiometer-1 no

Program:

//MASTER
#include<Wire.h>

void setup()
{
pinMode(A1, INPUT);
Serial.begin(9600); //when you want to output some information from your computer screen//
Wire.begin(); //join 12c bus with address #5//

}

void loop()
{
float value=analogRead(A1);
signed int voltage=(value*5)/1024;
// int temp=(voltage-0.5)*100;
Wire.beginTransmission(5);
Wire.write(voltage);
Wire.endTransmission();
delay(500);
}

//SLAVE
#include<Wire.h>
#include<LiquidCrystal.h>
LiquidCrystal lcd(12,11,5,4,3,2);
void setup()
{
Serial.begin(9600);
Wire.begin(5);
Wire.onReceive(ruso);
lcd.begin(16,2);
}
void loop()
{
delay(500);
}

void ruso(int y)
{

signed int voltage=Wire.read();
lcd.setCursor(0,0);
lcd.print("the voltage :");
//lcd.setCursor(0,1);
lcd.print(voltage);
//Serial.print("voltage value\n");
//Serial.println(5);
delay(500);
