Project 1 - Creation of user defined data type to implement the user interfaces for working with ‘Set’ (Mathematical Set theory) using Linked List

Linked List

A linked list is a data structure in computer programming that consists of a sequence of nodes, where each node contains data and a reference (or pointer) to the next node in the sequence.

  • It contains a Head pointer, Tail pointer, and New node pointer.
  • Head pointer :
    • Points at the starting address of the list
  • Tail pointer :
    • It is a temporary pointer mainly used for traversing the list.
  • New node pointer :
    • It points to the newest creation.

Here I have created two lists using the "insert_node()" function. Then used the function "display_list()" to display the list entered. Likewise, union and intersection operations are done by considering the functions "get_union()", and "get_intersection()".
