COVID-19 Vaccinations Trend Analysis

Aim: This project aims to analyze the data in detail about covid 19 vaccination trend analysis

Introduction: Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Most people infected with the virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment. However, some will become seriously ill and require medical attention. Older people and those with underlying medical conditions like cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic respiratory disease, or cancer are more likely to develop serious illnesses. Anyone can get sick with COVID-19 and become seriously ill or die at any age.

This project is mainly used to analyze the covid 19 vaccination results in a report. We mainly analyze this project in the following ways.

1. Sum of people Vaccinated by country
2. Sum of people Vaccinated by year and month
3. Sum of people fully vaccinated by year
4. Total vaccinated people
5. Sum of people fully vaccinated
6. Sum of daily vaccination per million
7. Sum of people fully vaccinated by country

Problem Statement

• We can find out how many people are completely vaccinated.
• Total vaccinations by each year and then by country. In this analysis, we can see the number of people vaccinated per million.

Methodology

Step 1: Data cleaning

In data cleaning I cleaned the data with the transform data option present in Power BI because the dataset was not cleaned and included some missing values, so with the help of the duplicates function in Power BI, I cleaned the data and replace the null values with 0 and then started working on it.

Step 2: Data interpretation

In this data interpretation step, I found out some important information about the data set.

• The data set was almost clear and completed.
• I replaced the null values with 0.
• There is a total of 86512 rows and 15 columns.

Step 3: Visualization

In visualization, I took the help of Power BI Desktop software to make graphs and charts here some relevant graphs and charts are attached.

Analysis

Sum of people vaccinated by country: The total number of people vaccinated by country wise, In the below dashboard we analyze the data that in every country we found the total number of vaccinated people. For example, In India 205820 million people were vaccinated.

Sum of people vaccinated by year and month: How many people were vaccinated monthly in a year? In the below dashboard, we analyze the data monthly and year-wise vaccinated people. For Example, In August 2021 total world-wise of 53064 million people were vaccinated.

Sum of people fully vaccinated by year: The total number of people who were fully vaccinated in the year-wise and world-wise. For example, in 2021 fully vaccinated people throughout the world 317 billion people.

Total vaccinated people: In this, we use the card visualization to represent the total vaccinated people throughout world-wise in all the years is 731113 million people were vaccinated.

Total Fully-vaccinated people: In this, we use the card visualization to represent the total number of fully vaccinated people throughout world-wise in all the years is 548594 million people were fully vaccinated.

Sum of people fully vaccinated by country and type of vaccination: The type of vaccination is taken by the country wisely and also shown on the map of the country. In this, we show which country takes which vaccination and also show on the world map where the country is

Sum of daily vaccination per million: The sum of daily vaccination per million in each country. In this, we can find every country has vaccinated how many people per million wise.

Insights

• In this final report to analyze the data in different countries the people were vaccinated and fully vaccinated.
• We analyze which vaccine takes by which country.
• We also analyze the number of people vaccinated monthly wise throughout the world.
• In insights the highest-vaccinated country is “India” and the lowest-vaccinated country is “Pitcairn”.
• In overall the number of fully vaccinated people throughout the world is 5.5 bn

Recommendations

• We can perform the operations city-wise and region-wise
• In India there is only 1 million people were vaccinated daily but in the USA 2 million were vaccinated daily so in India we have to give more attention to the vaccination process and also arrange for more doctors in every region in India.
• To increase the vaccination process we have to divide the vaccination into different sectors.

Conclusion

• In this, we concluded that the highest-vaccinated country is “India” and the lowest-vaccinated country is “Pitcairn”.
• In January 2022 the highest number of people were vaccinated and the lowest vaccination has done in December 2020.
• In overall the number of fully vaccinated people throughout the world is 5.5 bn
• Different vaccinations are taken in different countries.
