COVID-19 Vaccinations Trend Analysis

Aim: The primary aim of our project is to collect and analyze the data to create visualizations which helps to understand the vaccinations report of the year 2020-2022.

Introduction: One year from the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, scientists around the world has made rapid progress in developing safe and effective vaccines that will help reduce COVID-19-associated illness, hospitalizations, and deaths. These vaccines are expected to make a significant contribution to the equitable protection and promotion of human well-being and the gradual return to social, economic, work, and family activities. Initially, however, it is anticipated that all countries will face limited availability of vaccine doses. This means that it will be necessary to identify priority groups for vaccination and develop microplanning for systematic, organized vaccination aimed at achieving the established vaccination goals.

This data analyzes the country wise vaccination, amount of people fully vaccinated, vaccines availability, source of vaccine by country and tracking the daily vaccination details across country and number of people vaccinated by that date.

Problem Statement:

* Sources of vaccine for each country.

* Top 10 vaccinated countries with amount of people.

* Bottom 10 vaccinated countries with amount of people.

* Vaccination percentage for each country by vaccinated and fully vaccinated.

* Track the daily vaccination status for each country from 02-12-2020 to 29-03-2022.

Methodology:

* Data collection: The data used in this analysis has been retrieved from world health organization covid-19 data set.

* Data investigation: In this step, organized and verified whether the data contains the relevant fields that required to fulfill the problem statement, and whether it satisfies the tools for the visualization.

* Data interpretation: Data interpretation is the step in which to analyze and process the data. Here, top10, bottom 10, source of vaccine, vaccination percentage of countries and also daily vaccination data.

* Visualization: In this final step I’ve used table, clustered column chart, Tree map, Line chart to make the visualization easier to read and Understand.

Analysis: In the given data set of covid-19 vaccinations, the data has relevant information about the vaccination in daily basis according to the country, with date. The detailed names of vaccine sources given as per the country. And the vaccination per hundred people are given and also elaborated it with the respected field names. It’s so useful to find the difference between the people vaccinated and people fully vaccinated. And also can find the top countries which are having more number of vaccination and bottom countries which are having least number of vaccination. Therefore it is possible to know the vaccination percentage for a country across the world.

Insights:

-> The text table indicates source name of the vaccine along with the country where it is used also the code of the country.

-> The bar chart indicates top 10 countries which has highest rate of daily Vaccination with detailed values with it.

-> The bar chart indicates bottom 10 countries which has highest rate of daily vaccination with detailed values with it.

-> The tree map allows us to know the people vaccinated by country and the amount of vaccination, here we can able to see around 20 countries.

-> The tree map allows us to know the people vaccinated by country and the amount of vaccination, here we can able to see around 20 countries.

-> In the text table we can clearly know the percentage of the countries having vaccinated and fully vaccinated.

-> Line chart have been use to indicate the daily vaccinations across the countries by a line shows the count of countries and another line shows the sum of daily vaccination.

-> The text table shows that the number of people who not fully vaccinated in order to the countries. We can also see for specific country by using the slicer on the right of the table.

Recommendations: The analysis gave a better understating about the covid-19 vaccination data with the detailed visualization made up with the use of Power BI. As you can see the above pictures shows that the most of the details of dataset in a proper manner where we can get a clear understanding about the data of vaccination in easy of approach. And here we found the top and bottom 10 countries where the vaccinations gone most and least. Also able to track the daily vaccination amount with respect to each of the country where we can see in line chart. With the representation we can know that there’s gap between vaccinated people and fully vaccinated people and I think here to fulfill the need of vaccines and clear the difference the difference between those two fields.

Conclusion: This is some of the detailed analysis and information of the covid-19 data 2020-2022. From this I came to know and interesting fact about the daily vaccination amount and the countries which are contributed to cure the covid influence. And also it helped to found the amount of people needed to be vaccinated according to each of the country. And here I conclude that I clear the problem statements with the help of power BI.
