AIM:
The aim of this report is to analyse and visualize the world wide covid-19 vaccination dataset and provide insights into the global vaccination progress and distribution
INTRODUCTION:
The purpose of this report is to analyse and present insights from the given dataset focusing on the country vaccination. The dataset contains records of country, number of people vaccinated, year and other summarized measures. By using the capabilities of Power BI, we aim to extract valuable information, identify trends and make data-driven decisions based on the analysis.
PEOBLEM STATEMENT:
The world is currently facing a significant challenge in combating the pandemic covid-19 through widespread vaccination efforts. To effectively monitor and evaluate the progress of vaccination campaigns, there is a need for comprehensive data analysis and visualization. The problem at hand is the lack of a centralized and easily accessible platform to analyse and present the global vaccination dataset in a clear and informative manner.
METHEDOLOGY:
Data Modelling:
Design a data model in Power BI that includes tables for vaccinations, country, and dates. Establish relationship between the tables based.
Visualization:
Select appropriate visualizations to present the vaccination data. By using bar charts to show the trends of daily vaccination overtime and vaccination coverage between countries.
Filters and Slicers:
Implementing interactive slicers in Power BI to enable users to explore the data. Include options to filter by country, year range, other variable, allowing users to focus on specific subset of vaccination data.
Report Design and layout:
Design the report layout in a visually appealing user friendly manner. Arrange visualization logically on different report pages, include appropriate titles and labels and ensure clear data representation for easy interpretation.
Testing and Validating: Validating the accuracy of the visualizations and calculation by comparing results with known data sources or external references.
Iterative refinement:
Gather feedback from the user and stakeholders to improve the report iteratively. Consider Incorporating additional visualizations, refining calculation or enhancing the user based on the need and preference of the report’s audience
ANALYSIS:
In pertaining with the data sheet the following data is calculated and analysed
- The Total No of vaccination all over the world done in the past 3 year is
- Average Daily vaccination around the world countries is 31K.
- Year 2021 holds the highest average Daily vaccination 81K.
- In this daily vaccination China has the highest number of daily vaccinated individuals 93M.
- No of people fully vaccinated all over the world from 2020 to 2022 are
- Top 10 countries which highest no of total vaccinations are China, India, USA, Brazil, Indonesia, Germany, United Kingdom, Turkey, France, England.
- Least 10 countries which has the lowest no of total vaccination are Burundi, Nauru, Montserrat, Tuvalu, Bonaire Sint Eustatius, Saint Helena, Falkland Island, Niue, Tokelau, Pitcairn.
- Fully vaccinated people per hundred all over the world is 69M.
- Malta holds the highest fully vaccinated per hundred 72K.
INSIGHTS:
The Visualization showcases the overall progress of COVID -19 vaccination across different countries. It demonstrates the percentage of population vaccinated in each country. This allows for a quick comparison of vaccination efforts and identifies countries with higher or lower vaccination rate. This information helps in accessing the availability and utilization of different vaccines globally. The visualization captures the temporal trends of vaccination occurred globally. This allows for a quick comparison of vaccination efforts and identifies countries with higher or lower vaccination rate. This revels that certain region have achieved lower vaccination compared to other region. These disparities can be further analysed to identify the factor influencing vaccination efforts and potential area for improvement. These insights derived from the data visualization on worldwide COVID -19 vaccination data enable a comprehensive understanding of the global vaccination landscape.Bottom of Form
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Monitoring vaccination rate can help to identify countries that have high vaccination rate and those need more attention and resources to improve. A stacked bar chart to compare the distribution of distribution across the countries. This can provide insights into the availability and adoption of various vaccines globally. Analyse the vaccine progress over time in a chart that illustrates the cumulative number of vaccinated individuals over time for each country. This visualization can help track the progress of vaccination campaigns and identify countries that rapidly increased the vaccination rate.
CONCLUSION:
The visualization of the data has highlighted the disparities in vaccination rate between different region and demographic groups, emphasizing the importance of equitable distribution and targeted outreach efforts. It is evident that countries with well established healthcare infrastructure and robust vaccination campaigns have demonstrated higher rate of vaccination and better control of the pandemic.
The visualization of vaccination data provided valuable insights that can inform policy decision, resource allocation and public health inventions. By leveraging these insights, countries can strive towards achieving higher vaccination rate, ultimately mitigating the impact of pandemic and ensuring the health and well-being of the population.
