Project 1 - COVID-19 Vaccinations Trend Analysis

Aim:

The aim of this study is to thoroughly analyze data on persons who have received every suggested vaccination by year and country.

Introduction:

Data on immunization rates for people around the world is available. It contains information such as the name of the country, the date of vaccination, the type of vaccine used, the data source, and the daily vaccination rate. We are going to derive some important insights from the data.

Problem statement:

Total immunizations are broken down by country and then by year. We can show the proportion of people who had vaccinations per 100 in this analysis.

Methodology:

• Data :

The dataset was not cleaned and had some missing values, so in this stage, I cleaned the data and changed the null values with 0 and then started working on it. For this, I using Power BI's transform data option.

• Data interpretation:

In this step I found out some important information about the data set.

1. There is total of 86513rows of data and 15 columns.
2. The data set was almost clear and completed.

• Visualization:

In visualization, I took the help of Power BI Desktop software to make graphs and charts here some relevant graphs and charts are attached.

Analysis (Data sheets pertaining to it):

Some interesting points were found during the observation. They are listed below.

• The dataset available is from February 22, 2021 to March 29, 2021.
• The total number of vaccines administered per day is 1.13 million.
• The total number of vaccines administered per billion people per day is 672 billion.
• The cumulative total of complete vaccinations is 1228 billion.
• The total number of fully vaccinated people per million people is 1.38 million. China has the highest number of vaccines administered per day, with 2.73 million.
• In terms of the number of complete vaccinations by country, India has the most with 116 billion.
• The top 10 countries for daily vaccination are ::

China, India, United States, Brazil, Indonesia, Japan, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Vietnam and Mexico.

• The top 10 countries with the highest national vaccination coverage are :

India, United States, China, Brazil, Indonesia, Japan, Mexico, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Vietnam.

Insights:

Most countries with large populations have more vaccinations.The top 10 sources are displayed 2021 has the highest vaccination coverage due to monthly data.

Recomendations.

Collect great datasets for analysis.You can analyze data from all over the world.Similar to this dataset, you can perform operations on different categories based on city or date.You can work with large data sets and analyze them in a suitable graphical format.

Conclusion:

Finally, review the final report for further analysis. As per the report, these are the top countries for vaccination, the top countries for daily vaccination and the top 10 countries for vaccination. The two main sources of vaccine are India and China. It contains the correct format for charts.
