Project 1 - COVID-19 Vaccinations Trend Analysis

Project Title: COVID-19 Vaccinations Trend Analysis

Aim: The aim of this project is to analyze the COVID-19 vaccination data to identify trends and insights that can help improve vaccination efforts and prevent the spread of the virus.

Introduction: The COVID-19 pandemic has affected people all over the world, causing illness, death, and economic hardship. Vaccinations are a critical tool in the fight against the pandemic, but many countries have faced challenges in administering vaccines. The aim of this project is to analyze the vaccination data to identify trends and insights that can help improve vaccination efforts and prevent the spread of the virus.

Problem Statement: The problem faced by many countries is the challenge of administering COVID-19 vaccines efficiently and effectively. In this project, we find out in Different Countries how many people are Vaccinated or fully Vaccinated in 2021 and 2022 and also find out how many people in different countries have completed Daily Vaccinations, Total Vaccination per hundred, People Vaccination per hundred, and Daily vaccinations per Million.

Methodology: The COVID-19 vaccination trend analysis project was conducted using the following methodology:

  1. Data Cleaning and Preparation: The collected data was cleaned and prepared for analysis. This involved removing duplicates, correcting errors, and formatting the data.

  2. Data Analysis: The cleaned data was analyzed to identify trends, patterns, and insights. This was done using Microsoft Power BI, which allowed for the creation of interactive dashboards and visualizations.

  3. Insights and Recommendations: Based on the analysis, insights were identified, and recommendations were made on how countries can improve vaccination efforts.

Visualization

In visualization, I took the help of Power BI Desktop software to make graphs and charts here some relevant graphs and charts are attached.

Analysis: The analysis of the vaccination data revealed the following insights:

  1. Vaccination Rates: The analysis showed that vaccination rates varied widely between countries. Some countries, such as India and the China had high vaccination rates, while others This suggests that countries with low vaccination rates need to prioritize vaccination efforts to increase the number of people vaccinated.(The Dataset is available for 2021 and 2022.)

  2. Vaccine Types: The analysis showed that different countries were using different types of vaccines. Some countries, such as the United States and the United Kingdom, were using mRNA vaccines, while others, such as China and Russia, were using inactivated or attenuated vaccines. This suggests that countries should consider using a variety of vaccines to ensure that they have access to the most effective vaccines.(eg. Abdala, Johnson&Johnson, Oxford/AstraZeneca, Pfizer/BioNTech, Soberana02, Sputnik Light, Sputnik V,Covaxin)

  3. Country & Vaccination:-

    • The Total of 223 Countries participated in Vaccination.
    • IN 2021 Total Vaccination is 60.79% completed.
    • In 2022 Total Vaccination is 39.2% is completed.
    • China, India, the United States, Brazil, Indonesia, Germany, United States, Turkey, France, and England There are the top 10 countries is completed the full Vaccinations.

Insights: Based on the analysis, the following recommendations were made:

  1. Prioritize Vaccination Efforts: Countries with low vaccination rates need to prioritize vaccination efforts to increase the number of people vaccinated. This can be achieved by increasing vaccine production, expanding vaccine distribution networks, and increasing public awareness of the importance of vaccination.

  2. Use a Variety of Vaccines: Countries should consider using a variety of vaccines to ensure that they have access to the most effective vaccines. This can be achieved by collaborating with other countries to share vaccine resources and knowledge.

  3. Ensure Access for All: Countries need to ensure that all population groups have access to vaccines, including marginalized groups and those in rural areas. This can be achieved by setting up mobile vaccination clinics and ensuring that vaccines are distributed.

Recommendations:-

  • We can collect good datasets for analysis.
  • We can analyze the data of the overall world.
  • Like this dataset we can perform operations with various categories, city-wise or region-wise.
  • We can work on large datasets and analyze them with the proper format of the chart.

Conclusion:

  • The COVID-19 vaccination trend analysis project has provided valuable insights into the current state of COVID-19 vaccinations worldwide. The analysis has shown that there is a wide variation in vaccination rates between countries, and that some population groups are being vaccinated more than others. To improve vaccination efforts, countries should prioritize vaccination efforts, use a variety of vaccines, and ensure that all population groups have access to vaccines.
  • As we can see in the Dashboard the top country is vaccination-wise. Top Country by the vaccination in daily and best top 10 countries with our vaccines. Vaccination peeks in 2022. The Top 2 vaccine sources are India, and China.
