Project 1 - COVID-19 Vaccinations Trend Analysis

Aim: The aim of the project is to collect data from the data source clean and analyze the data on Covid-19 vaccinations and find some insights.

Introduction: The main objective of the project is to find out the total number of vaccines produced for each country, find the number of people vaccinated in each country, and find out the top 10 countries where people are partially and fully vaccinated. And also, to find the trend line of the total number of vaccinations done per month.

Problem Statement: From this we can find out the total number of vaccinated people from the country's total population.

To find in which month the maximum number of people went vaccinated.

Top 5 vaccines which are used worldwide.

Find how many are fully vaccinated in the top 10 countries which are vaccinated.

Methodology:

Step-1: Data Cleaning

In this process the raw data is imported to power bi and the data cleaning process is done by replacing the null values with 0.

Step-2: Data Interpretation

In this process I found vital information from the data which can be used for visualization like people vaccinated, vaccine brands, etc.

There were 86513 rows and 15 columns.

Data Cleaning has been done successfully.

Step-3: Visualization

In visualization, With the help of Power BI Desktop software graphs and charts were plotted according to the given data sets.

Analysis: From analyzing the data I made a visualization:

• To Find the vaccines provided by each country.
• Map visualization of the Number of people vaccinated in each country.
• Top 10 countries in which people are vaccinated and fully vaccinated.
• Daily vaccination did each month worldwide (finding trendline).
• Finding the top 5 vaccination brands used worldwide.

Insights:

From analyzing the data and visualization I found out that:

• China is the country in which a maximum number of people are vaccinated. 1.28 Billion People are partially vaccinated and 1.24 Billion People are fully Vaccinated in China.
• Second Country is India in which a maximum number of people are vaccinated. Around 984 million People are partially vaccinated and 828 million People are fully vaccinated.
• The other Countries are the USA, Indonesia, Brazil, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Japan, Mexico, and Russia which are in the top 10 countries which are vaccinated.
• From daily vaccination done each month I found out that initially there was a drastic upward trend till June 2021, and the trend was stable till august 2021, There was a slight downward trend till October and a slight uptrend in December 2021 and after that, a there was full downtrend till march 2022.

Recommendation:

• More detailed dataset can be used for data analysis.
• Total population can be given to comparing with the number of people vaccinated.
• Specific vaccine brands can be used for accurate data analysis.

Conclusion: From the given datasets and visualization China is the country in which the maximum number of people are vaccinated. In China, around 1.28 Billion people are vaccinated and 1.24 Billion people are fully vaccinated.

India is the second country in which the maximum number of people are vaccinated. Around 984 million people are partially vaccinated and 828 million people are fully vaccinated.

A maximum number of people were vaccinated in June 2021and the trend went downwards.

Around 47.84% of people used Can-sino vaccine and 26.9% of people used covaxin.

Most people are well aware and educated to vaccinate themselves and to prevent themselves from the corona virus.
