As shown in the above flowchart there are two power sources mention as fuel cell and Battery
The logic which is been told to develop in this is that if the power demand from the vehicle is less than the minimum FC power than the FC must go on standby and the power should be supplied from the battery storage system and if the power demand is greater than the min FC power than the FC should be used and if the power demand of vehicle is force than the max power of FC then the battery should supply the power
The simulink model can been developed with below inputs.
min FC Power is kept between 0 to 1000w
Operating region of FC is 1000w to 9000w
and max power demand is set till 9000w to 10000w
The signal builder block can be used as the input to give the power demand required by the vehicle the simulation can been run and the output such as FC power Battey power and FC status can be studied by connecting it to the scope
build logic block of the simulink
The Interval test block are used for setting the limits of the Fc minimum maximum and operation region the limits are been set as discussed avbove then as per logic the switch block are been set and the output is been connected to FC or battery as mentioned in flowchart
Signal Builder profile can be defined
As in Signal buiilder the power demand is between 0-1000 w and from 207-393 sec the power demnad is in between 1000-9000w and for rest to the time its above 9000w so respectivley first the battery should provide the power at the same time the FC should be at standby and when the power demand is greater than min FC power then Fc should be used and if the power demand exceeds max FC power then battery should be switched back.
Result scope can be displaying for FC power, Battery power, fuel cell status and actual power demand.
RESULTS:-
From the results the logic which is to be developed should be full proof and working proper as per the logic defined we can even see that when the FC is in opeartion the FC status is been showed as when its on the FC status is turned as 1 and when off its as shown
